Our home loan administrators work from home in a contractor role. This means that it is an opportunity to grow your own business using your finance industry skills and knowledge.

What does a home loan administrator do?
​
A home loan administrator plays a key role in preparing, submitting, and settling home loan applications on behalf of a mortgage broker. They complete the data entry and compile the loan application and compliance documentation and lodge the application with the lender. They will then work with the lender to have the loan approved and settled.

What’s do I need to know when it comes to being a contractor?
To be a contractor means you largely work autonomously and unsupervised, although you will work closely with the Mortgage Broker and their clients. You have the flexibility to set your own hours and work from wherever you want to (so long as you have Wi-Fi and phone connectivity).

You will need to have the following:

Reliable internet connection

Payment is per file and it usually take 3 to 6 months to build up a regular income.
What experience do I need?
Although ongoing support and coaching will be provided, it’s important that you are self-driven and have sufficient industry knowledge to hit the ground running.
Essential skills are:

Excellent data entry skills and attention to detail, as accuracy is key to being successful in this position.

Familiarity with using online lodgement platforms like ApplyOnline and Loanapp.

Experience in using aggregator CRMS like Flex, Podium and Mercury Nexus.

The ability to compile supporting documents and complete lender calculators

Customer servicing and relationship management skills
